I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I joined the League in 1990 just a few months following the birth of my son, my last child. I brought him to the parish meetings with me, much to the delight of the 'grandmas' there. Both my mother and my mother-in-law were long standing members of the League, my mother having joined the Military Ordinate while my dad was in the Military.

My husband Glenn and I will be married for 42 years this fall. We have four grown, married children and 11 grandchildren, no great ones yet! We were married in Edmonton Alberta and seven years later moved to his hometown, North Battleford Saskatchewan, where we still reside.

I have served as the council president three times as well as chairperson of most of the committees. I have served as Prince Albert Diocesan president twice as well as chairperson of several committees at the Diocesan level. I am currently the Diocesan past president. I have served on the Saskatchewan Provincial Council before as Communications chairperson and I am looking forward to serving once again, this time as chairperson of Christian Family Life.
